Orbit is a product of [EMG's legal company name] (“Orbit,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you visit this website, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. If your company uses the Orbit platform, your company’s agreement with us covers that data.
The short version
- We only collect what you give us to book a demo: your name, work email, company and the kind of team you’re on.
- This site doesn’t set cookies of its own or track you across other websites.
- What you type into the product demo on this page stays in your browser. It isn’t sent to us.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
When you book a demo. The booking form asks for your first and last name, work email, company and whether you’re with an agency, a brand team or something else. When you go on to pick a time, these details pass to our scheduling tool, along with the time you choose and anything you add there.
When you visit. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the time. We use these to keep the site running and secure.
When you use the demo. The clickable product on our homepage runs entirely in your browser with made-up data. Anything you type into it, like a company name or a question, stays on your screen and is gone when you leave the page.
How we use it
- To schedule your demo and follow up with you about Orbit.
- To answer questions you send us.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
If we send you marketing emails, every one includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with companies that help us run this website and our business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Our scheduling tool, which books your demo and sends the calendar invite.
- Our hosting provider (Vercel), which serves this website, including its typeface.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or similar change to our business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies of its own. When you pick a demo time, our scheduling tool opens inside the page and may use its own cookies to work. Its own privacy policy explains how.
How long we keep it
We keep demo request details for as long as we’re talking with you about Orbit, and then only as long as we reasonably need them for our records or as the law requires. Hosting logs are kept for a short time and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email us at [contact email] and we’ll respond within the time the law allows. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
California and other U.S. states. Depending on where you live, state law may give you the rights above plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We don’t sell or share it in that way.
Visitors in the EU, UK and similar places. We use your information to respond to the demo you asked for (taking steps at your request before a possible contract) and for our legitimate interest in running and securing this website. You may also object to our use of your information or ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Where it’s stored
We’re based in the United States, and our service providers may store information in the U.S. and other countries. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No website or service can be completely secure, though, so we can’t guarantee it.
Children
This website is for business professionals. It isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
